SUFI DANCE RITUAL

11.11.2007, New Town City Hall, Prague

Ritual was lead by Sashar Zarif, singing old Azerbajdjani songs and playing the Daf frame drum. 60 participants shared the unique and unrepeatable reconstruction of traditional sufi ritual dancing. Waves of joyful energy were alternating with softening to deep meditation, evoking life circulation.
